Let Go of the Writer (Yes, You Again)
Because the writing will still be there, especially when you’re not.
Let go of the writer and the writing will be there.
Yes, I know. I’ve said this before. It’s not new. It’s not even dressed up differently. It’s the same message, again.
And still, here you are, reading it. Here I am, writing it.
If you’ve been following along, this line might feel repetitive and predictable. Who knows, maybe even a little annoying. “Let go of the writer… yeah yeah, I get it.”
But do we? If we truly got it, would we still need to hear it?
Would I still feel the pull to write it down again? Would you still be here, halfway through the post, nodding and wondering why it still lands?
Why say the same thing over and over? Because it doesn’t ask for understanding. It asks for surrender. And surrender doesn’t stick. It moves in and out. It whispers, then disappears, then comes back.
So I write it, you read it, again and again.
And once we no longer need to hear it, we won’t.
No more reminder. No more reader. No more writer.
Only writing. Still there.
