We expect we need to do things to promote our upcoming book.
With it, we don't even feel like it anymore. Efforting? No, thank you.
We don't need to. Nothing fundamentally different has to be done. It's more about undoing, that's why I often refer to it as unmarketing.
You might see yourself putting the right tools in between. But everything you already do, you just continue to do. And if it's a continuation, can we speak of 'doing' at all?
We don't have to do more things to facilitate our book being seen. Often much less, like worrying about whether enough people will see it.
Look at what's already taking place. You leave that stream for what it is. But you use a few tools or platforms to give the things that are already being done the right place.
It's the exact same stream of energy, just directed slightly differently.
You're already having conversations about the topics in your book, writing posts, and meeting people who are curious about what you're exploring.
The tools just give these existing moments the right container. A newsletter that gathers thoughts you're already thinking. A meetup that houses conversations you're already having. Social media that amplifies connections already forming.
Nothing new gets created. Everything just finds its proper place.
