Writing might be the most interesting thing I can possibly imagine.
I don’t mean this in the 'this is my calling' way at all. More like the part where creativity takes over and you’re just along for the ride.
I’m talking about that strange feeling that as soon as you write one word, something starts happening. And the moment you think you know where it’s going, you write the next word, and realize you don’t.
That might be why it feels alive. Like it’s not your job to control it. Such a relief.
Sometimes you surprise yourself. Sometimes you delete the whole thing. Maybe you start again. You know that even a single word can tilt the whole thing into motion.
So if you feel stuck, start there. Write one word just to see if it opens. Maybe it leads nowhere. By the way, I just realize how cool it is that nowhere contains now and here.
Anyway, you get to witness your writing. And how beautiful is that?
"nowhere contains now and here" - blew my mind!
Profound yet practical!
